The summary section of Powerops gives a quick insight into both report level and data model level information. Get a high-level overview of your Power BI Report, including essential insights on page count, visual count, visual types, custom visual count, number of tables, different data sources, total measures, and much more.
The Report level summary gives us information about the following:
Total Pages - Shows the count of the total pages (Hidden as well as Visible Pages)
Total Visuals - Displays the count of the total visuals used (Hidden as well as Visible Visuals)
Visual Types - Gives the number of visual types used (Includes the count of custom visuals used as well)
Custom Visuals Used - Shows the count of custom visuals used
Bookmarks - Displays the count of the total bookmarks used
Visuals By Page - Gives the count of total visuals in each page of the report (Hidden as well as Visible visuals and pages)
Visual Type Count - Shows the total count of each visual type used
Objects by Page - Displays the count of visuals, visual types, custom visuals and filters used on each page of the Power BI Report.
The Model level summary gives us information about the following:
Total Tables - Provides the total number of tables present in the data model. (Hidden as well as Visible)
Total Columns - Provides the total number of columns in all the tables (Hidden as well as Visible)
Data Sources - Provides the total number of data sources in the data model
Measures - Provides the total number of measures present
Calculated Columns - Provides the total count of the calculated columns
Tables by Data Sources - Provides the total count of tables per data source
Tables by Connectivity Mode - Provides the total count of tables per connectivity mode type
Columns by Tables - Provides the column distribution per table
Objects by Tables- Provides the type, storage mode, number of columns and number of hierarchies for each table
Note that only Thick Reports have both Report and Model Level Summary. In case of Thin Reports, only Report-level summary is available and in case of Datasets, only Model-level summary is available.
