Actions
Add buttons, shapes or images to the report and assign actions to them to trigger a specific behavior, such as navigating to a different page or opening a web URL.
Powerops captures the action data and displays it as below.
User Interface
Page Name - The name of the page where the visual with the action exists.
Element Type - The type of element on which the action is applied. They are mostly buttons, shapes or images.
Action Type and Action Value The type of action assigned to the element along with the value. These are:
Back: Returns the user to the previous page of the report.
Bookmark: Presents the report page that's associated with a bookmark that is defined for the current report.
Drillthrough: Navigates the user to a drillthrough page filtered to their selection, without using bookmarks.
Page navigation: Navigates the user to a different page within the report, also without using bookmarks.
Bookmark navigation: Navigates the user to a different state in the report, either on the same or a different page, by using bookmarks.
Q&A: Opens a Q&A Explorer window to ask natural-language questions about the data.
Apply all slicers and Clear all slicers: These buttons apply all the slicers or clear all the slicers on a page.
Web URL: Opens a web page in a browser.
Tooltip - The text to be displayed on the tooltip on hovering over the element.
