# Actions

Add buttons, shapes or images to the report and assign actions to them to trigger a specific behavior, such as navigating to a different page or opening a web URL.

Powerops captures the action data and displays it as below.

1. **Page Name -**\
   The name of the page where the visual with the action exists.
2. **Element Type -**\
   The type of element on which the action is applied. They are mostly buttons, shapes or images.
3. **Action Type and Action Value**\
   The type of action assigned to the element along with the value. These are:<br>
   * **Back:**\
     Returns the user to the previous page of the report.&#x20;
   * **Bookmark:**\
     Presents the report page that's associated with a bookmark that is defined for the current report.&#x20;
   * **Drillthrough:**\
     Navigates the user to a drillthrough page filtered to their selection, without using bookmarks.&#x20;
   * **Page navigation:**\
     Navigates the user to a different page within the report, also without using bookmarks.
   * **Bookmark navigation:**\
     Navigates the user to a different state in the report, either on the same or a different page, by using bookmarks.&#x20;
   * **Q\&A:**\
     Opens a Q\&A Explorer window to ask natural-language questions about the data.
   * **Apply all slicers** and **Clear all slicers:**\
     These buttons apply all the slicers or clear all the slicers on a page.
   * **Web URL:**\
     Opens a web page in a browser.
4. **Tooltip -**\
   The text to be displayed on the tooltip on hovering over the element.
