Bookmarks

Bookmarks capture the current state of a report page. They save the current filters and slicers, cross-highlighted visuals, sort order, and so on.

In Powerops you can easily view the detailed information of each component of the bookmark along with other bookmark details.

User Interface

  1. Bookmark Group - A bookmark group is a collection of bookmarks that you specify, which can be shown and organized as a group.

Power BI Desktop automatically names the group "Group 1"

  1. Bookmark Name - Name of the bookmark

Power BI creates a bookmark and gives it a generic name "Bookmark 1"

  1. Bookmark Details - The detailed information of elements saved with the bookmarks. Below is how the details are displayed:

  2. Properties that can be selected to be applied by each bookmark:

    • Data properties, such as filters and slicers

    • Display properties, such as spotlight and its visibility.

    • Current Page changes, which present the page that was visible when the bookmark was added.

  3. Visual selection to apply the bookmark

    • All Visuals

    • Selected Visuals
