Visual Calculations

Visual calculations allow users to build new calculations from any visual inside Power BI using an Excel grid-like interface. Utilizing visual calculations facilitates the creation of computations that were previously challenging, resulting in more straightforward DAX, simplified maintenance, and enhanced performance.

User Interface

The below information about visual calculations are available in Powerops:

  1. Page Name: Name of the page where the visual with visual calculation is present

  2. Visual Title: Title of the visual on which the visual calculation is applied

  3. Visual Type: Shows the visual type accompanied by a visual icon.

  4. Calculation Name: Name of the visual calculation created

  5. Expression: Formulas which are written to define the logic of the visual calculation

  6. Is Hidden?: It clarifies if the visual calculation is hidden or not.
