# How to Create a new Repo in Powerops?

Creating a repository in Powerops is a straightforward process. Here's how you can do it:

1\. Begin by clicking on the "+ icon" located next to "Repos."

2\. Fill in the required details in the form:

* For "Repo Name," typically use the name of your workspace in PowerBI.
* "Description" is optional and can contain information about the repository and its purpose.
* "Any Files to add?"
  * Choose "No" if you wish to add files at a later point, and then click the "Create" button to create an empty repository.
  * Choose "Yes" if you want to add files immediately.<br>
