In Power BI, hierarchies are used to organize data into levels of detail, making it easier to navigate and analyze information. Hierarchies can be created from one or more fields in your dataset, typically representing a parent-child relationship or a sequential order of categories.
Table Name: Name of the table where hierarchies are created
Hierarchy Name: Identifier for a specific hierarchy within the table.
Is Hidden?: Indicates if the hierarchy is currently hidden or visible.
Total Levels: Total number of levels in the hierarchy.
Level Ordinal: Position of a specific level within the hierarchy.
Level Name: Name or identifier for a specific level in the hierarchy.
Column Name: Original name of the column containing hierarchical data
Description: Additional information about the hierarchy levels.
Display Folder: Grouping mechanism for organizing hierarchy levels in a folder.
