In Power BI, the Data Model is the backbone of your report and serves as the foundation for analysis. Within the Data Model, tables represent the structured data imported or connected to Power BI Desktop. These tables contain the fields and records that you use to create visualizations, perform calculations, and generate insights.
The below attributes of tables are captured by Powerops:
Table Name: Name of the tables within the data model
Is Hidden? (Yes/No) It clarifies if the table is hidden or not.
Is Featured Table? (Yes/No) Displays if the table is set as featured in the semantic models.
Is Date Table? Displays if the table is a date table or not
Storage Mode: Provides information about the mode of data storage (Import/Direct Query/Live Connection)
Columns: Total number of columns in the table
Hierarchies: Total number of hierarchies in the table
Measures: Total number of measures in the table
Partitions:
Annotations: Total count of descriptive comments or metadata that provide additional information about the table.
Type: Displays the type of table (Source/Calculated)
Description: Comments or notes explaining the purpose, structure, or usage of the table.
Synonyms: Alternate names for making reference to table name.
