Perspectives

Perspectives, in tabular models, define viewable subsets of a model that provide a focused, business-tailored, or app-specific view.

User Interface

  1. Perspective Name: Name of the created perspective.

  2. Perspective Description: Additional information about the purpose or content of the perspective.

  3. Table Name: Name of the table associated with the perspective.

  4. Column: Specific column(s) within the table relevant to the perspective's focus.

Note that Perspectives can be created using the external tool Tabular Editor.
